Calculators and guides are for planning
Our calculators and guides give general information and estimates. They’re not professional engineering, structural, electrical or safety advice. Material properties, product specs and local rules vary. Before you buy, build or weld, confirm figures with your supplier, the manufacturer’s instructions and a qualified professional where needed.
Safety
Welding, cutting and power tools carry serious risks, including burns, electric shock, fumes, fire and eye injury. Always use proper protective equipment and follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions and your local safety regulations.
